my job title has never included the words teacher or trainer,
I believe that teaching is in my blood.
While working as an engineer in the early- to mid-1990s, I
designed and conducted in-house training courses on
creative thinking, basic statistical analysis, and design of
experiments for my fellow employees.
I see common threads shared by the processes of selling
and teaching (some teachers may differ with me on that
one), and have always approached prospects with the
mindset of an educator in my roles as a salesperson.
So many wonderful teachers have helped me throughout
my life. I "give back" by teaching others whenever and
wherever I can.
