widening scope of situations and experiences, equally at ease

Generalists, with their "know a little about a lot" portfo-
lio, are certainly more flexible in a changing  environment,
but obviously lack the depth expected by their partners or

My model in these rapidly changing times is the Swiss
Army Knife.  I seek to constantly develop & nurture a fluid
combination of fairly diverse skills.  That's why my career
path (so far) has been

engineering > six sigma > analytics > sales > marketing

Some may view that path as a sign of uncertainty -- even
stupidity.  I call it evolution.
